Biography

Carrie Sackett is the founder of ZPD Coaching, a virtual and international practice specializing in group, couples and family work.

Her book Social Therapeutic Coaching: A Practical Guide to Group and Couples Work will be published by Routledge in January 2024. It is being hailed as launching the next niche practice in the modern coaching industry. Together with co-author Murray Dabby, she formed The Center for Group and Couples Coaching to train coaches and helping professionals in the social therapeutic method and to lead ongoing Life Development Groups with clients from all walks of life.

She has been practicing social therapeutics for 25 years—in the coach’s chair and outside the coach’s office as a corporate global change leader, an award-winning communications professional and an international nonprofit executive.

I have been practicing social therapeutics for 25 years—in the coach’s chair and outside the coach’s office as a corporate global change leader, an award-winning communications professional and an international nonprofit executive.

A client of social therapy for many years and a graduate of the Social Therapist Training Program of the New York State chartered East Side Institute, I have personally experienced the powerful impact of this approach with my emotional and social growth.

Today social therapeutics is practiced by therapists, coaches, educators, business consultants and performance activists around the world.
